Dune Dog Cafe, Jupiter (561) 622-8770

Review: Worth Your Money and Time

I think my son has eaten every type of hot dog on the menu and loved each and everyone! I have eaten everything from the Dune Dog which is topped with relish and onions to the Leroy Brown's Junkyard Dog which is my favorite that is topped with a special sauce. The grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich is fresh as was the Caesar Salad with a grilled and lightly seasoned skewer of shrimp. This is a Keys restaurant that got lost and landed on Alt A1A in Jupiter just north of Indiantown. If you are looking for a casual "joint" after a day at the beach or for a quick stop into a vacation during your lunch break than this is the place for you. The food is fresh, the sweet tea is delicious and perfectly sweetened (which is very important if you come from the South) and the Coronas and Jimmy Buffett music aren't bad either. They have fried fish and even a Lobster night. The restaurant needs a little bit of a paint job and the bathrooms could be cleaner. Parking seems to be a problem as well at peak times. Service is very good. See you in the Keys err Jupiter!
There is also a new Dune Dog Express in Palm Beach Gardens. http://dunedogcafe.net
